Problem

Fresh setup needs separate feed authentication, protected SSO state and explicit Edge selection.

Change

Refresh the setup guide and Word copy; keep README compact. Default guided browser setup to Edge, approve scaffolding first, and retain manual fallback. No new implementation skill warranted.

Validation

  • Four documentation tests, lint, typecheck, formatting and docs checks pass
  • npm pack --dry-run includes both guides
  • Word XML, public links and sensitive-information review completed
  • No credentials or private consumer identifiers included

Risk

Documentation/assertions only; standalone runtime defaults unchanged. Application SSO and Word visual rendering not exercised. Full local Windows gate not repeated; merge requires successful GitHub checks.

Refresh the public setup guide and generated Word copy, preserve compact Copilot instructions, separate feed authentication from genuine SSO, and protect private state without publishing consumer identifiers.

FixLab CI failed and was contained without modifying source. Evidence is retained in the workflow artifacts: https://github.com/MonaDevAI/FixLab/actions/runs/41812769299

🟡 Changes recommended

The paste-only prompt does not identify the setup guide’s location or provide a manual fallback, leaving fresh-checkout users without a way to find the installation and MCP instructions.

Updated in aad20d0: moved dashboard operation after Architecture, made setup/startup Copilot-first with questions for missing details, and consolidated dashboard use into one shorter six-step guide. Manual commands are fallback only. Validation: 4 documentation tests, docs check, formatting, diff check and packaging passed. Earlier lint, typecheck and policy checks passed. Full npm run validate reported linked-application test failures and was stopped; full unit and E2E validation are not complete. No runtime changes.
